About Undercover:
Undercover is a Japanese luxury streetwear brand founded in Tokyo by Jun Takahashi and Hinori Ichinose in 1990. Blending punk, gothic, and high fashion elements, Undercover has a distinctive design ethos that draws inspiration from music, art, literature, and various subcultures. While Ichinose went on to start the brand Vandalize, Takahashi took Undercover to another level by joining BAPE's NIGO at the NOWHERE store in Harajuku, which became the official store to buy Undercover clothing in the early 1990s. In the three decades since, Undercover has grown to be one of the most prominent Japanese fashion brands, partnering with brands like Converse, Supreme, and Uniqlo to create limited-edition collections that merge Takahashi's distinct punk aesthetic with elements of street culture.
